" It's kind of fun to do the impossible " - Walt Disney
There was a tiny fear in my heart as i walked into my college on my first day. Remembered being caught by a group of seniors and their general Q&A round. The trick was, it had to be complete Hindi conversation at which I, my friends, am weak :) However , by the end of the round i actually realized I used words like चित्रकला - पिताश्री - विद्यालय - भ्रमण - अतिउत्तम - कार्य - सफलता and few more. As I turned to leave after bowing down to the group of "Respected Sir & Madame", I realized there was a little smile on my face and not a FEAR. Com-on, I admit that this was probably the first time in my life I have used these words.
Moving on, college was pretty good. Fear of 'coding' in simple HTML was one thing i could not get rid off. I fell in doubt if I had chosen a wrong subject, however things turned bright when 3D was introduced. The more i came to know about its power the more i fell in love. I told myself that I would learn Character Animation which I did and got my job as an animator too. I escaped the confusing 'codings' , i thought I escaped the Fear. Life was at its best when I started getting freelancing projects as well to do character animation.
Then there was a time when I saw myself working in BPO doing little animation along the same side.I guess this is why they say -" Life's a roller-coaster". Not that I had any bad experience but from time to time I feared if I would be able to get back what I would love to do, my subject, animation. I got a huge opportunity to come back into my field from a relative of mine but for some reason I didn't go for it. Was that Laziness ?? I think I felt Afraid !!

Getting some hard talk from my family and after lot of cursing to myself, I decided to get a hold of myself. I started creating another demo-reel and fortunately enough I got myself a freelancing project from a company.Started working on it and before even I knew I got a call to work for this company on a full- time basis. I wouldn't miss this. When asked about my profile, as to what exactly I would have to do, they said that they would like me to document their sites, visualize the web design and keep an eye on the development of every site. (* Can u really escape FEAR ?? its coming back to me - Website Development which means HTML, DotNet and crappy Languages which I will have to take care of ??? Man, whatever be it I cannot or shouldn't BacK Off now.. )
By the time my Sr.Manager finished explaining my job, I had already thought off the above all but decided to face my fear.
3 months into the job and IT IS FUN. I enjoy doing the graphics, writing docs. for the sites and learning/building websites on Dreamweaver. I got to realize that many things would be impossible in life until you are ready to face them.
